Question: Do you support legislation to extend the protections in the U.S. Constitution against race, gender and ethnic origin
discrimination to sexual orientation?
Will Tyler White: Protections for equal treatment already exist in the Constitution, so
they should not need to be extended to any specific orientation. Unfortunately, many people either misinterpret or ignore those
protections. If listing them helps avoid any misunderstanding, that's fine. Another addition could be "political orientation".
Independent and minor party candidates are routinely discriminated against by media and government. For example, the government
of Republicans and Democrats created the Commission on Presidential Debates in 1987 to limit participation to their two parties and
silence all other views. The establishment media dutifully endorses the charade without question, ignoring the fairness doctrine.
